Samsung Tocco Ultra Review The Samsung Tocco Ultra Edition looks cool and is packed full of impressive features. It is so incredibly thin you could easily forgot that you have it in your pocket. With a brush metal finish body it certainly has an elegant feel about it. But Looks and feel are not the only things going for the Samsung Tocco Ultra. Features include an 8 megapixel camera, autofocus, dual LED Flash, touch screen, GPS, 3G, MP3/Video player and FM Radio.

Touch Screen
The 2.8 inch WQVGA screen uses the latest TouchWiz v1.5 touch screen user interface. This supports finger swiping controls and a variety of home screen widgets, including a selection of online mini-apps. The touchscreen uses AMOLED technology, this gives a better brightness and contrast ratio that is more energy efficient which provides better battery life. As well as touchscreen controls there is a slide out numeric keypad for making calls.

8 MegaPixel Camera
The Samsung Tocco Ultra is equipped with an impressive 8 megapixel autofocus camera which provides excellent quality photos. The camera has a dual LED flash which provides ample light for shooting in badly lit situations. The camera has a couple of rather nifty features Face detection technology, which adjusts the camera settings automatically for great portrait photos and Smile Shot, which automatically takes a photo when the person is smiling!

Tocco Ultra Memory
The on board memory is only 75MB, but fear not the storage can be expanded up to 16GB using a microSD card which is located behind the battery. Not a great design decision from the Samsung Tocco Ultra team but then how often are you likely to change the memory card?

Web Browsing
The web browser supports xHTML and HTML with ultra fast browsing speeds, up to 7 mbps using 3G HDSPA. Turning the phone on it side provides landscape web browsing and widescreen multimedia.

GPS
The Tocco Ultra comes with a built in GPS receiver which can be used to GeoTag photos with location information. Google Maps comes installed on the phone but there is no turn by turn navigation software.

Messaging
Email and SMS and picture messaging.

Multimedia
The Tocco Ultra has an MP3 and video player that supports a wide range of media formats including DivX/ XviD support. As well as an MP3 player you can also listen to music on the Samsung Tocco Ultra using the built in Stereo RDS FM radio.
