The touch screen is a 2.8 inches QVGA LCD screen. Selecting something on the screen gives you tangible feedback through a vibration, sound or both; this can be set by the user. The interface is easy to use and quick to pickup. However if the screen is dirty then the phone does not respond well. So keeping the screen clean is essential to the operation of the phone.
The camera has a couple of rather nifty features Face detection technology, which adjusts the camera settings automatically for great portrait photos and Smile Shot, which automatically takes a photo when the person is smiling!
The media player plays a host of formats (MP3, AMR-NB, I-Melody, SMAF, XMF, MIDI, SP MIDI, AAC, AAC+, Enhanced AAC+ & WMA) and video formats (MPEG4, H.263, H.264 & WMV). The Tocco also features Shazam a service that can identify songs you listen to.
Memory wise the phone comes with 240mb of storage out of the box, with the option of upgrading to 8gb through a microSD card. Which should be more than enough for most music collections.
Internet is ultra fast with HSDPA at speeds up to 7.2 Mbps, which is more than enough to download large files, stream video and make video calls. The phone comes set up with Google search and Gmail for easy web searching and email.
To sum up the phone has ultra fast Internet connection, a great camera with a very easy to use touch screen interface. Drawbacks are that if the screen is dirty the phone becomes almost impossible to operate and there is no automatic landscape switching like the IPhone.
