The Nokia N96 smart phone weighs 125 grams is 03mm in height by 55mm in width by 18mm in depth, but really who cares about that? Who gets their tape measure out and scales to see what the dimensions of the phone are, when this phone is packed full of shiny interesting stuff!

So shiny interesting stuff. The phone is now in the IPhone 3G league for storage with a massive 16gb of memory enough to store 3500 songs. Yes I did look that up because who knows that off the top of their head? If 16gb is not enough for your extensive music collection, then you can expand the storage as the Nokia N96 supports MicroSD™ memory cards.

The built in camera has a five-mega pixel camera with a Carl Zeiss optics Tessar lens, auto focus, auto exposure and a dual LED flash. So getting a decent photo just got easier.
Equipped with a music player that has an FM RDS radio that displays the radio station name you are listening to. As well as the FM radio the N96 supports a Nokia Internet radio and as you would expect the music player has the ability for the user to create and manage play lists of their favorite music.

Screen size is 2.8 inches, which supports up to sixteen million colours on QVGA LCD screen with a resolution of 240 x 3200 pixels. Which is very useful when the N96 comes equipped with DVB-H live TV broadcasting, which enables the user to watch live TV on the go. As well as DVB-H the Nokia TV player comes with BBC iplayer support so you never have to miss an episode of Dr Who again!

Internet browsing is done through Nokia’s own browser, which supports HTML, and JavaScript combined with 3G HSDPA technology and you have an awesome mobile Internet capability.

The phone has a built in GPS receiver and a navigation system, which will give methodical directions to a keyed in destination along with satellite pictures.

So in brief, a massive 16gb of storage (for a phone of course), 5 mega-pixel camera, and music player with FM RDS and Internet radio. DVB-H TV for watching live TV, 3G HSDPA for ultra fast web browsing and GPS receiver with navigation system.
